Terms & Condition
The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Cambridge Airport Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
The terms “Cambridge Airport Minicabs” “we,” or “us” pertain to the service-providing company, while “you” and “your” refer to any individual, business, or company making a reservation with us.
Booking
2.1 Ensure sufficient time allocation for your journey, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-ins. Cambridge Airport Minicabs is not liable for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness during collection.
2.2 It is your responsibility to request a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. No guarantee is made regarding excessive luggage. Children, regardless of age, are considered individual passengers.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made during the booking process.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotes, excluding VAT unless specified, are based on the information provided by you. We reserve the right to modify the quote for significant itinerary changes.
3.2 A 45-minute waiting period and airport parking costs are included in our quotes. Additional waiting time will be charged at the standard Cambridge Airport Minicabs rate.
3.3 Confirm the accuracy of the booking confirmation upon receipt. Failure to notify inaccuracies may result in delays or costs for which Cambridge Airport Minicabs is not responsible.
3.4 Payment options include cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted vehicles.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.
4.3 Proper restraint for children is required based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 We adhere to passenger limits set by licensing or insurance.
Cancellations
5.1 Notify Cambridge Airport Minicabs of cancellations promptly to avoid charges. Charges for cancellations after dispatch are based on the driver’s time and distance.
5.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.
Liability
6.1 While we strive for timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Cambridge Airport Minicabs assumes no responsibility for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a breakdown, we’ll provide an alternative car to expedite your journey.
6.4 You will not hold Cambridge Airport Minicabs liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.
6.5 Liability exclusion or limitation is not applicable for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds are provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Cambridge Airport Minicabs may subcontract obligations as per this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your obligations or rights under this agreement.
8.2 We may modify terms and conditions, with changes reflected on this page. Review regularly, and existing bookings will be charged at the rates applicable during booking.
8.3 Information processing adheres to the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the complete understanding between Cambridge Airport Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 No third party has right to enforce this agreement unless expressly stated in writing.
Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made after this period will not be entertained by Cambridge Airport Minicabs.
